heart game write-up ish.

Oh, I am going to cheat . . . So, the game was over here. The changes by characters are:

Mako created the start of a time loop, but this has no effect on Serah.

Red/Allen can handle difficult topics and issues in stride, and he gains a lot of trust for believing in Yeul without question. Rather than putting that faith towards everyone, it is focused solely on him as everyone else largely tripped up or did not tinker with the idea too much.

Lloyd won the game. In moving Serah out the Void Beyond, she is able to appreciate her past rather than letting it be overshadowed by whatever happened in the end. She is able to take a more active role in her past as well. Lloyd also managed to come up with a solution to the time travel puzzle! Serah is set more solidly on the path of not returning home and grabbing everyone she wants with her from home. Really, it works nicely with Serah appreciating those who were with her from other changes. On the Aather side, Serah might be more drawn to Heliodor randomly . . . Lloyd also encouraged her own agency in her role as a "knight", but it is under the aspect of desire rather than obligation. (Link)

Mithos also won the game. He gave his own spin on the role of a seeress by talking with Yeul a lot which will translate into being aware of the circumstances but not closing people off. Likewise, he pushed Serah into her time-changing role rather than being a passive observer. (Link) The experiences he shared are also incorporated more heavily into Serah's own, so she will be less likely to throw everyone off a bridge for Lightning . . . Good change, who knows? He also reinforced how Serah approaches situations by relying on people, so she will continue to motor in that way, potentially creating a greater base.

Noel wrote himself out of history, um . . . The clash between Noel and Phoenix was exacerbated to an almost unhealthy extreme. Serah will likely tread on very uncertain ground with her memories of the journey with Phoenix. Considering Noel thought of writing himself out of history and Phoenix actually did, Serah will worry that the path of self-destruction is highly likely for him. He did cover a hurdle in making a fine distinction between before and after she met him.

Fang broke the timeline. She created a strong dichotomy between how others will view history versus how Serah views it, happiness at the cost of others, and so on. Along with Noel, the ability to share memories continues to be locked down when it comes to canonmates.

Whiskey served as a visible demonstration of the ignorance of teams about knights. (Link) Serah will assume that teams don't have a frame of reference for how being a knight works which is what creates a lot of misconceptions about the role and those who serve as knights.

Itachi tagged along for the ride.

Lightning helped reinforce the divide between what is remembered and what is present when it came to castmates, but she handled the situation better. Bonus points for sister. ♥

Tiger also managed to handle complicated issues with a certain amount of grace. Like Red, he gets a boost that works for him alone rather than spread out. He gets the same faith in Yeul benefits, too.

Yuki . . . I don't even know with you . . . No, he rejected Serah's ideal of Aather in such a large way, but he eventually came around which pairs in with the dichotomy of what Serah sees as best may not be everyone's cup of tea.

And questions if anyone has them, I guess . . . ?
