✦ Day Eleven: Proposal.
- Lightning is wildly terrifying while Snow is supportive, charming, and generally wonderful.
- Between becoming a monster or crystal, which is really better . . . ?
- She is so happy and loved while upset that she will lose it all, and cannot stop crying when she thinks about it.
Since this will be her first memory of home after losing all the rest, she will be reset in a sense. At this point in the game, Serah isn't completely unable to depend on others. She can understand that Snow is doing all that he can to help her, and she appreciates that deeply. Still, the relationship with her sister is fractured, and Lightning throws a lot more weight with Serah than Snow does, especially in the current situation. (That is, Snow has accepted and is helping whereas Lightning is going to be mad.) Overall, she isn't secure in her own power or able to move proactively, instead reacting to what comes to her, while being completely overwhelmed by her situation.
Now, she has a firm base established in Aather to counteract this! As planned, she had her memory with the pinnacle of her own agency as her first to give her confidence to act when she arrived in Aather. After that, Lloyd and the rest of the knights have helped her find her feet and serve as her enabling base. Snow was her first, then Noel becomes her second. But she doesn't remember it being anyone but herself, so she was able to pick and choose from the people that were helping her out . . . And Serah isn't very exclusive to begin with, anyway. When Serah puts the two together, there is a lot of dissonance! Still, while she might be more timid and likely to keep to herself around those that she isn't secure with, Serah has spent more time in Aather as a proactive character than her short remembered time. She will always be open and expressive with those that have validated her despite her memory.
Small jar with a fishy smell, Shareable, Four times.
