There isn't very much to these scenes. Serah is trapped in the Vestige, while everyone fights their way to the fal'Cie. Somehow, Serah was aware that Lightning and Snow were coming. Then, they have a fight while she slowly drifts in and out, not completely there. She interrupts them with a message to save Cocoon, passing on her focus, before turning to crystal and crying a crystal tear that Snow pockets.

SKILL: ✦ Moogle Throw.

The most amazing skill that Serah will ever have: She can throw small, fluffy animals across long distances, so that they can bring her back treasure or otherwise. With an upgrade, Mog will always bring something back whether it's a potion or a gil, while she can toss him at floating treasure spheres to get anything out of reach. Serah can use any conceivably hand-sized creature for tossing purposes . . . Hi, Burupya. ♥

And her aim goes up, I guess. That's a part of it, too.
