Former members of Lightning's old team, who now work as the Blitz Squadron for the Academy and are trained to face distortions, get lost in a paradox. Serah and Noel face the cause of the paradox, Twilight Odin, a beast created from the lasting scars of the l'Cie's journey through the Vile Peaks. After fighting it twice over, Serah and Noel reunite the team with each other and find out that the group still carries a lot of fondness for their old teammate. Then, they run into shadows of Sazh and Lightning . . .

+ Wow, Hope, wow! You built a whole city, and it is not a hellish place ruled by a fal'Cie this time. Good job, Hope!
+ Um, Serah changed the future by yelling at people. Well done there.
+ So, you have to approach a problem from a lot of angles, and you can't always know which will be the right one.
+ Hope is a time traveler, too! Wao, it is not just Serah and Noel, and this area connects to another alternate time line, haha. Hey, Snow, hey . . .
+ Caius may appear, and Noel's memories are distorted again . . .
+ Serah wanted to save Cocoon, and she caused everyone else to pursue that dream. She was the start of that history.
+ Saving Vanille and Fang . . . 8(

+ There are so many Yeuls, and they are all disconcerting.
+ Etro has given Serah the ability to see the timeline, but she does not demand action for that gift. She was the one who changed history on that day, so that they could all be together.
+ A world without change, a world that is closed in upon itself . . . That is the world that Caius wants, because it will save Yeul. Also, he is a huge dick who likes to bait people, huff.
+ . . . Ow, that hurt . . .
